GOAL

Many families move to Princeton because of its excellent public schools. They would like their children to attend well-regarded schools that are reliable, high-quality, smoothly operated, and well-maintained. Parents work very hard to live in this expensive town and the last thing they want to see is the schools creating unnecessary distractions. Schools with strong reputations for academics and openness and with goals to constantly improve themselves will keep the town attractive and valuable to present and future residents, with or without children in the school system.

In recent years, many acquaintances in this town whose children have already graduated from PPS have expressed to me their concerns that the district's golden era has passed. This is particularly concerning as my child is still progressing through our public schools.

Our children's futures are too precious to let such concerns stand unchallenged. The quality of our schools should be upheld now just as it was for those who went through the system before them. We, as a community, need to work together to restore excellence and elevate PPS to new heights, build it even better than before.

I extend my best wishes to all BoE candidates as we embark on this shared mission in 2024. Regardless of the outcome of my campaign, I believe PPS deserves a brighter future.
